I agree that this was an excellent event. Well hosted in a top venue with a superb turnout.

Two ideas for future events of a similar nature:

1. Badges for delegates with their name and who they work for may enhance interactivity.
2. It would be good to have this and similar events not always in London to encourage attendance from people based elsewhere. I would suggest other major centres for travel to or where there is a populous of eligible delegates such as Birmingham or Derby.

Thanks for your feedback. A couple of things:

It is certainly the intention of the Committee is to use different locations around the UK in order to reach as many of our combined membership as possible.

I agree about the badges.

Chris, I think that we tried to address the early finish time by adding the after party, which I think was a great success. The Albannach had live music and a great feel. We must have got around 50 people in attendance....and quite a few to 3am! Some sore heads no doubt on Friday morning!

I can only thank everyone who came for making it such a great event, particularly the staff at the IMechE who worked so hard to make it so.
